Pina Mehta

Pina graduated from McGill University in Canada with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy, and then went on to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University. Over the past 18 years, Pina has worked primarily in out-patient orthopedic settings treating both acute and chronic conditions due to repetitive strain and/or athletic injuries. She has significant experience and loves working with post-operative patients as well, helping them return to their previous level of activity. Pina’s annual continuing education courses allow her treatment approach to remain current and evidence-based to provide patients with the most effective treatment. Pina believes in empowering her patients to improve their own physical fitness through education on posture, bodymechanics and exercise. Pina has advanced manual therapy skills, is Astym certified and uses a postural restoration approach to help improve symmetry and muscle imbalances. Pina loves to hike and paddle board and is loving the thrill that learning to ski has brought her the past 2 years.

Nora Kovit

Nora Kovit, DPT, OCS earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a concentration in Orthopedics from Columbia University in NYC. Since graduation in 2008, she has worked in outpatient orthopedic settings, as well as home health. She obtained her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in 2016, and has training in a variety of therapeutic treatments including myofascial release, strain/ counter strain, muscle energy techniques, Mulligan manual techniques, and the McKenzie method. She enjoys working with people of all abilities to help them reach their athletic potential, and uses an integrated treatment approach of targeted manual therapy and functional exercise to create a unique treatment plan specific to each person’s goals.  Nora moved to the area after falling in love with Seattle’s proximity to mountains and water, and she can be found spending her free time hiking, skiing, taking barre classes, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband, daughter, and dog, Baker.

Divya Mallar

Divya is a graduate of University of Indianapolis and completed her Masters program in Physical therapy majoring in Orthopedics. Over the last 11 years, she has practiced in a variety of clinical settings obtaining advanced skills in treating sports -related and general orthopedic patients, vestibular issues, women’s health and geriatric population.

Divya combines a variety of manual therapy techniques like myofascial release, strain counter -strain, METs and emphasize on posture while performing functional exercises.

During my free time, she enjoy swimming, hiking and watching animated movies with my boys.

Rachel Stoner

Rachel Stoner, MPT graduated from Dickinson College with a bachelor’s degree in Greek. She then moved to the Pacific Northwest where she sought her Masters in Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University. Since graduation in 1998 she has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, home health, geriatrics, and most recently a large outpatient sports clinic. Rachel has a passion for treating pre and post partum related injuries, athletes and sports related injuries, and all types of back pain. She also really enjoys working with post operative patients and rehabilitating them so they can perform their favorite activities. Rachel believes in empowering the patient with the knowledge to prevent future injury and improve posture and mechanics. Rachel’s personal interests include volunteering on the Physical Therapy Association of Washington Education Committee and in her children’s classrooms, hot yoga, running, and swimming.

Sarah Hall

Sarah Hall, DPT, OCS, COMT received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2006 and has been working in the Seattle-Tacoma Area ever since. She went on to earn an advanced certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) in 2009 and obtained her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in 2011. She has particular interests in treating pregnancy related and postpartum pain as well as athletes of all ages. She believes in treating the whole person and creating a personalized treatment plan to help her patients meet their specific goals. When not in the clinic, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, working out with Redmond’s FIT4MOM group and cooking.

Erin Freeman

Erin Freeman, DPT, CSCS earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a concentration in sports Medicine from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. While at Northeastern, Erin developed her passion for working with an orthopedic and sports medicine population and obtained her Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification in 2013. Erin has been fortunate enough to work with a number of high level athletes while at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Sports Physical Therapy Diviion and the University of Pittsburgh’s Sports Medicine Clinic. Erin’s love of the outdoors brought her to the Pacific Northwest and during her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, skiing, hiking, tennis and swimming.

Ann Johnson

Ann Johnson, MPT graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology. She then received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University. Over the past 17 years, she has worked in health clubs and outpatient orthopedic settings with athletes from a variety of sports. Her continuing education includes kinesiotaping, myofascial release, and Mulligan manual therapy. She practices from an evidence based approach to provide the patient with the most effective and current treatment approaches. She believes in empowering the patient with education and exercises to take charge of their own health care. Personally she is a triathlete and skier and enjoys getting athlete’s back to their best.

Chris Tuohy

is an experienced and talented physical therapist and the Founder of Advantage PT and Sports Rehabilitation. He has over 25 years of experience in patient care and has continued his training with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2004 and a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy in 2007. He has extensive training in advanced physical therapy, including manual therapy, functional exercise techniques, medically based exercise therapy, strain/counter strain, muscle energy techniques and many others.
